Wonderful hosts and excellent breakfast. Lovely room with a balcony and plenty of towels.

The room initially was too hot. We turned off the radiator and opened the balcony door, the room soon cooled down. No USB sockets and the hairdryer wasn’t very useful. Its cable was too short and there wasn’t a plug near a mirror.

Exceptional stay, with lovely hosts, and a really cosy establishment. Slightly concerned with parking in Robin Hoods Bay, but on arrival was given a pass for the main car park, and thus no problem at all. My wife gluten intolerant, not a problem, Neil and Michelle offered excellent gluten free breakfast alternatives, including salmon and poached eggs. I was left with the task of eating a full English each morning and it was excellent, with mountains of toast and coffee in abundance. Added to this was cereal, fruit and yogurt and this was all A+. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Oh! Lots of coffees, tea and biscuits in the room, and free water bottles available for filling the kettle. There is alcohol and other beverages in the fridge and they offer an honesty payment process. We did not partake in this as we are not big drinkers. All in all, I highly recommend the Wayfarer. Made to feel really welcome and will be visiting again soon. A massive thank you for making our short stay a memorable one for all the right reasons. Neil and Michelle, apologies, I forgot to take our chocolate biscuits and milk out of the fridge when we left. An oversight on our part.

There is nothing we didn’t like about our experience. It was all excellent.

Laid on the bed and rolled straight off as it was well used and extremely soft. The room was so small you had to squeeze around the bed so much so you opened the curtains with your bottom. No light over the kettle so you couldn’t see what you were doing. Very dangerous. Breakfast was pre order and served between 8.30 and 9.30am!! So no lie in! It also tasted very strange. Had to park in a public car park even though it says parking. Read the reviews of the bistro and was looking forward to eating there but it had closed down. Left after one night as we got no sleep

Exceptional in every way - modern & stylish decor, excellent rooms, breakfast and very nice, friendly, professional owners - Neil and Michelle thought of everything to make our stay comfortable eg fresh milk for hot drinks, free bottles of water, extra refreshments if needed. Even umbrellas available if wet weather.

Very well run guest house, friendly helpful owners who couldn't do enough for us. Exceptional breakfast and great standard of rooms and comfortable bed. We had a nice view over the moors from the top of the building. Superb location at the top of the village and it was nice to have a permit for the car parks close by. Thank you for for a great stay and we hope to come back again next year.
