Just WOW. The property is absolutely stunning, we literally could not believe our eyes at the most amazing view of the countryside and mountains! The house was beautifully presented and clean, spacious, gorgeous outdoor dining options! The pool area is fantastic with plenty of loungers and a day bed, towels were also provided. Kitchen had all the utensils and plates, glasses etc needed including plastic glasses for around the pool. The firepit was gorgeous for a sundowner in the evening and if we had more time we would have made more use of the meditation room and huge games/gym/cinema room! Honestly we should have booked longer we had the most fantastic stay. I can’t recommend this property enough. Great communication from our hosts, we were met by Gail who showed us around and said to contact her if we need anything. She even brought over a home made apple crumble! The house and grounds are so beautiful I’ve honestly never stayed anywhere so well maintained, clean and with so much space and incredible facilities. We enjoyed lovely outdoor dining, lounging by the pool, hot tub and fire pit in the evening. The meditation studio and games room are also amazing additions, you really do need a few days to enjoy the extent of it all. But mostly the view is magnificent. What a gem, we will definitely be back! 5 STARS!!!!

Everything was perfect. The only thing I would say is you have to be a little careful with small children and there is a bit of a drop from the amazing pool. But we watched our little ones carefully and they enjoyed the facilities immensely!

The location was stunning! Just a note do not use Google maps, follow directions as provided by the host. The hosts were amazing.

The property itself is situated in the most idyllic location . Quiet, beautiful, lots of birds, we were there in early spring, and so the surrounding countryside was full of wildflowers. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I can’t think really of anything

The stay was incredibly comfortable, with absolutely fantastic views that truly enhanced the experience! Our hosts, Sandy and Shane, were exceptional, providing outstanding hospitality and making us feel warmly welcomed throughout our visit.

Sandy and Shane were exceptional and very attentive hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even offering to do laundry and ironing for us. They checked in often to make sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. As a surprise, Sandy even baked us fresh muffins which were delicious. The view from the pool and jacuzzi area was incredible and the gardens beautifully kept.

We really enjoyed our stay and there was very little that we didn’t like. The cottage was generally very clean, and Sandy was wonderful—always helpful and quick to respond to any requests for housekeeping. There was a lingering smell of smoke in our room, from a previous guest, despite the no-smoking policy. Sandy did her best to address it, and we appreciated her efforts. While packing up, we noticed a bit of dust under the furniture—perhaps a deep clean every so often would help keep things in top shape. We didn’t make use of the relaxation room or entertainment area, but from what we saw, a little refresh could make those spaces even more inviting. Overall our stay was wonderful and any small critiques are in which we think that an already fantastic guest experience could be improved.

What a gem of a mountain retreat where a basket of fresh produce from the greenhouse was delivered on our first morning! Beautiful space, amazing for children who loved the freedom of exploring the pool table and table tennis! Our hosts Sandy and Shane were impeccable and friendly down to earth hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and also gave us space to just soak up the quietness. (The owner also checked in on us to see that all was well!) A wonderful place for friends and families to relax.
