The South Cabin at Easter Arr

Very cosy already booked for next november

We had everything we needed for a short break, this is the third time we have stayed at Easter Arr, once in The Cabin and twice in The South Cabin, each time it has been an absolutely superb place to stay, so quiet and restful.

Nothing, even our dog didn't want to leave.

Nuce cabin with all that we needed, very quiet. Welcome food was not required but appreciated.

Bed mattress was a bit hard.

Very clean and comfy in a beautiful location , ideal for a couple and a dog, we was left milk, bread, fruit, yoghurts and other items which was a wonderful touch ❤️. Celia came and met us the first day and asked if we had everything we needed, if we needed any help we can call at the house. The location is perfect for a quiet and peaceful break, we was having a coffee in the morning looking out of the cabin and a deer strolled by, not something you see everyday and a red squirrel was playing in the tree, the first one I have ever seen☺️. The cabin is a 10 minute drive to Nairn with plenty of places to eat or get a takeaway, the beach is so clean and dog friendly which is one of the reasons we chose this location. I would definitely return again to the cabin and location , everyone was so friendly and the area is so very laid back. The cabin is a 30-40 minute drive to Inverness and a 90 minute drive to fort Augustus which I highly recommend to visit , we visited chanory point hoping to see the dolphins and seals at high tide in their natural habitat,sadly we didn’t see them, the other direction we went to Lossiemouth which is about an hours drive away from the cabin , on the way back from Lossiemouth we stopped at a lovely garden centre for a drink and mooch around which is about 15 minutes from the cabin , there are some wonderful gifts in there. This was our first visit to the highlands and I would highly recommend , the people are so friendly and the whole area is very laid back. Would definitely return again.

What a lovely, nicely decorated and comfy cabin in such a beautiful, peaceful setting! We really enjoyed our time there, taking in the peace and the scenery, and making use of the terrace, which allowed us to sit outside even when the weather wasn't perfect. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even gave us a personal welcome. We were also surprised to find so many breakfast goodies and fresh flowers in the rooms — it was a lovely surprise. We can absolutely recommend this place.
