Garajau IV by An Island Apart

Our flight was delayed and the host made themselves available to meet us at our new arrival time. The flat has a decent size, we had no issues with towels, internet, linens. Local shops, pharmacy and restaurants at walking distance. Short drive to bigger supermarkets. Short drive to the main motorway Decent sized communal pool

For me, the pillows were too soft. In the laundry and toilets there was a bad smell when we arrived, but after flushing the water in the toilets and running some water in the laundry, the smell disappeared within an hour or two and didn't come back.

The size of the apartment was very good and having a utility room to dry and wash clothes was appreciated.

The location, the sea view. 2 bathrooms. Close to Funchal.

The bed was quite hard. There was a sewage smell on one or two days.

Cosy accommodation with comfortable beds . The view from the balcony is unforgettable. We received a parking lot also for the rented car make our life easier. I recommend this apartment for a fantastic holiday.

Localization was great. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Private underground parking. Very nice host
