Little Henry House on Duke St

The host was very prompt with replying to my emails, and sent extra information on how to access the property! The house was exactly like the pictures. It was very clean, and supplied all the equipment you would need for your stay! I will definitely book we with them again!

The road to access it has a lot of potholes, but if you turn onto 48th from Woodstock, go down to glenwood & take a left, & then turn left onto 50th you can avoid the potholes!

No breakfast promised or received. Very cute and refined guest house for one person or a couple who can live on top of one another. Terrific location for proximity to Reed College and associated ambience.

This place HAS to be recognized to offer a mixed bag, depending on the season. With sub-zero February temps it is frigid despite a properly-sized H/AC unit (weak insulation?), but some may not mind: beats camping and the bed is comfy. With the heater running full-out, my thermometer showed 55F. PARKING, seems secure and is dedicated, but you need directions or a well-thought plan to reach it without being maimed by SERIOUS potholes on unpaved muddy streets. A clean approach can be made, but your mapping app will not do the job. These potholes are DEEP and ruthless suspension killers, of which a single bang will leave you will repairs in the thousands. Maybe you can gingerly ease your way through them and have a good enough relationship with the Gods to duck that fate, but those holes are decidedly non-trivial. Walking out of the place, the mud was also deep and pervasive. Again, maybe you're used to such things and it'll be no biggie. It may be dry when you visit, but the host can advise guests of how to avoid these two problems if they devote sufficient attention to the task.

Really well equipped, with good knives in the kitchenette and dog toys for canine friends. It was quiet but very convenient to Woodstock and Reed College.

It was a little hard to find. BE SURE you use the owner’s directions and not Google Maps.

The property was a cozy space, complete with all the amenities you could ask for.

The property was actually better than expected.

It’s adorable, new very comfortable, it is quiet and I felt safe there.
