Fortunate angle guesthouse 乐居

The hotel management was so friendly. I really felt welcome. Family run... And..I would just say they are joyous. It was like they were happy for each guest to be there just because they liked meeting people. Yes, of course, it is their business. But to them--it is more than just a business -- and that made it special. A big reason for why I travel is to connect with people. It was so nice to get to know them. The room is enormous, wood floors, clean, and has a big bathroom. Hot water worked well. Has A/C. The room has imperfections, but for me - they weren't important. It is right across from the river. Beautiful location. There is some street noise... If you're a light sleeper, it might bother you. I am not a light sleeper and outside noise did not bother me. 2 layers of curtains keeps the room dark until you want it to be light. I was very comfy. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

The locks on the doors when I was there were not great. I worried at first, but security wasn't an issue. Besides, there was someone always buzzing around the hotel and keeping watch which made me feel secure.
