Paseo del Rey - Fuengirola 2 Bedrooms Oceanfront Apartment

The location was AMAZING, definitely the highlight of the place. The view of the beach is great and restaurants and cafés are just outside the door. The rooms are also spacious enough for 4 people. The building is also nice and there are plenty elevators.

The house was VERY dusty and people with mild allergies would have a hard time breathing. The sofas are old and dirty and the beddings were also dusty. There really needs to be more attention given to the cleanliness of the place. The electricity kept failing whenever we would use any of the electrical appliances and we had to call the repair guy to use the washer due to these power disturbances. There were not enough dishes and there was only 1 old pan and small pot for cooking. Be careful that if you don't book a parking spot, it is very hard to find a place to park in the neighbourhood.

Layout

Moths, owner knew, as there were mothballs in both bedrooms. When we first turned on the shower, the moths were flying everywhere. Other than that the apartment was very convenient.

Bedrooms and living room were fine.The kitchen was a not well equipped.Broken and chipped crockery,in description it said there was an oven.It was not an oven but a tabletop grill only fit for making toast.Could not have cooked anything more for the chance of catching fire.No tea/coffee maker as described.There was a kettle.The washing machine blew all the electrics and I contacted the owner about getting the electric back on and this was ignored.Eventually I found the fuse box hidden behind a picture.Health and safety risk.My husband is disabled so I had to sort all these issues myself.There was an infestation of moths during our stay.Every time we opened the cupboard with the cleaning products and sweeping brush the moths came flying out.There was no point in contacting the owner as he was ignoring our complaints.I asked at the start about the shower head sliding down every time we had a shower and that was also ignored.

Apart from the bedrooms and the living room the rest is very dated.The chairs that we had use of for the beach weighed a ton and falling apart.Very surprised that booking .com have passed this property as fit for purpose

Amazing location !

Check in expérience was not the best. Easy to understand as all the keys are in code lockers but if the code is not working, the management is rude and takes time to answer. We found ourselves blocked for 1h because the code they gave us was not working. The lady was RUDE and impatient and couldn’t seem to understand that the code was not working. She ended up giving us the emergency code which worked !
