Soul Shack, with outdoor bath

This was a wedding present for our daughter and so in-law. They loved it

It was cozy, clean and conveniently located close enough to the town centre. The views were great!

The photos of the property are not up to date as the outside area looks completely different. The shack is right next to the owners house so doesn’t offer the privacy we were hoping for. We returned home from lunch to a driveway full of cars and children as the hosts were having a get together. While this didn’t bother us too much at first, we were soon interrupted with children playing and yelling in the paddock behind our accommodation and leaning up on our car. As mentioned above the shack is lovely however if you’re looking for a relaxing,private and interrupted stay, you may want to choose elsewhere.

Cute tiny house, nice view and lots of sun. Cows very close to the property. Friendly dog. Comfortable bed. Access to a bbq was nice. Star gazing was amazing at night. I would recommend if you want to get away from the city. Had fun watching a dog herding sheep, that dog was super fast.

Not sure why there’s a bath outside. There was no ac and with the windows opened flies would fly in. Nothing around , needed a car to get food and get to town. Instant coffee only. Expensive for what it offered. Tiny bathroom with a tiny sink. Very strict rules about check in and check out. Cleaning fee but adamant about leaving the place clean and tidy.

Location was awesome 👌

Ticked all the boxes for what I wanted. Quiet comfortable modern country feel was very relaxing got to shut off from the busyness of life.

I didn’t realise that children weren’t allowed. Only thing I didn’t like even though I can see why. Depends on the child.

Conveniently located around 10 minutes to Raglan town! Amazing views and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet the dog!

The clean facilities. The hot tub hotels nice

The outdoor bbq table bit light. Unfortunately I’m a big person and couldn’t sit outside eat dinner.

Had the most beautiful welcoming committee, Luna the dog and a black cat who showed us to our accomodation and wanted lots of pats. A very lovely space to relax, nice and clean and tidy, well thought out area and wonderful outdoor bath to stare at the stars. 10/10 would come here again.

Staff were great, location was amazing, apartment was beautiful, clean, very comfortable.
