This apartment scammed us

No tuvimos chance de hospedarnos, nos enviaron un mensaje 3 horas antes de nuestro check in, habiendo reservado un par de meses antes y habiendo pagado 2 semanas antes. Cuando llamamos al lugar nos dijeron que tenían otros huéspedes y al quejarnos dijeron que tenían un problema con el agua. A pesar de que Booking trato de ayudarnos finalmente perdí entre la diferencia de precio, los cambios de moneda y las operaciones bancarias más de 1000 euros de los cuales booking reembolso aproximadamente 400. Fue una experiencia muy amarga.

Non era pulita, i bagni avevano un odore terribile , alcuni mobili erano rotti, le prese di corrente non erano sicure; quando siamo arrivati c’era un lavandino del bagno pieno di acqua sporca e non si riusciva a utilizzare lo scarico per svuotare il lavandino . C’erano dei condizionatori portatili che emanavano solo aria calda e i tubi erano affrancati al muro solo con dello scotch . Due camere erano praticamente cieche in quanto dalle finestre non poteva entrare la luce perché davano su delle parti interne e buie del palazzo. Le scale per salire al 3 piano erano pericolose . Il codice di apertura che ci era stato inviato non funzionava . In un bagno l’asta della doccia era staccata dal muro e pericolante . Le pale di un ventilatore erano molto sporche .

I’m leaving this review after an extremely frustrating experience. The property was advertised as having air conditioning, which was one of the main reasons we booked it. However, on arrival, we discovered that all three AC units were broken, literally held together with electrical tape. None of them worked, and this was during a heatwave with temperatures reaching 37°C. One of our guests was pregnant, which made the situation even more distressing. I reported this to both the property and Booking.com over three weeks ago and have still not received any response. When I initially complained to the property, they said they’d fix the AC. When we returned, all they’d done was apply more electrical tape to the broken units. There was no real repair, and the units remained completely non-functional. This isn’t just false advertising, it’s a serious health and safety risk. The property should not be listed as having working air conditioning when it clearly does not. I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of response from both the property and Booking.com, and I expect this to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.
