Very cute homestay run by a very sweet family. Nice home-cooked food for dinner. Close enough to the start of the Barsey Hike (40 mins)
Wish they had heaters in the room. It can get very cold in the region.

Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.
It was a tough place to reach after the Sikkim Floods but we managed via Darjeeling. Perhaps we were the only tourists to reach Okhrey in between 20-23 October 2023
