Cottage in Walton on the Naze

Ideal for us with 2 small well behaved dogs. Very comfy bed.

It is in a great location with just a short walk to the beach. Owner’s communication was great. Nice enclosed backyard that is dog safe and had a clean outside toilet.

This is not the usual home from home that we normally stay in. It has mismatched furniture and poor finishing touches eg bathroom and missing tiles in the kitchen - see photos We had worked it out from the photos but it should be more clearly stated in the description that the only inside toilet is in the bathroom off the main bedroom so any guests in bedroom two have to walk through bedroom one to use the toilet. The bottom step down into the bathroom is not attached, consequently, it's dangerous. It’s only free parking for 24 hours and then you have to pay for the parking in the car park which is only five minutes away but, again, this needs to be in the description. At the moment, it is only mentioned in one of the questions/answers Broken blind in bedroom 2 so light floods in very early in the morning Also the stairs are very steep so not for anyone with mobility issues. It has huge potential, just needs updating to a higher standard.

Brilliant location. Very good communication from host. Lovely little cottage and very dog friendly. Loved the dog bed and poop bags left. Bed exceptionally comfortable. Highly recommend

Very steep stairs to bedroom which were tricky at times. But we managed.
