The view and access to the sea was lovely, the place was neat and beautiful

Both bathrooms have limited ventilation, I think thus is because they don't have windows. Some air freshener and toilet cleaning chemicals could do the trick. Otherwise I don't have issues with the apartment.

Information given on arrival was not enough

Location and proximity to the beach is exceptional. We were very lucky to find this place. Spacious enough for four people, although you'll have a family feud over who gets to stay in the front bedroom. Security was very good. Surroundings very quiet. Especially in summer, the aircons are a huge benefit and makes this property stand out from the other options. Despite the rocky start, I would recommend and stay here again

There's a distinct "farmyard" smell of blocked sewers. No amount of ammonia could get rid of it. Let's hope this is only temporary as the whole of Umhlanga suffers after the flooding. Communication was sadly lacking and frustrating. Could not get hold of the agent, because he/she was "off for the weekend". Had to phone the owner only to hear we had to fetch the keys from another address about a kilometre away. Of course, this was after the Uber had already dropped us off. If you are not familiar with Umhlanga and the property, this can spoil your plans.
