Outside carpark very dark at night - wall floodlights near back door not working, which made finding and opening the key box tricky on arrival.

The apartment was absolutely spotless - we were really impressed by how clean and well maintained the place is. The host had sent really good instructions and was responsive to any questions we had. The location is also excellent - super close to car parks and the town. The building felt secure. The beds were super comfy and warm; the host had put extra blankets on each bed. The host had also put some wonderful little touches to the place: a biscuit on each bed, a little gift in the fridge. We had also messaged them prior and asked for specific bed arrangements, and they happily made our requests a reality.

The one parking bay that comes with the property was taken by another car (and the other options were also taken) which was a bit of a shame (but of course not the host's fault). My fellow guests arrived before me and struggled to find the location of the key box/entrance to the building, in spite of all the excellent and thorough info given (including pictures). I think because it was dark maybe this added to their confusion. A what3words location could be useful to aid discovery of the key box and entrance. We couldn't get the heating to work in the property either, and we'd messaged the host to check if we'd turned it on correctly. Despite their quick and helpful response, we never did manage to get it working so the flat was a bit cold.
