The George Inn St Mary Bourne

The photos of the pub don't do it justice, such a great place and really nice rooms!

The location for work was great and the room was nice. It was a little chilly and I could not adjust the radiator. No breakfast was offered but the local post office did do a breakfast but from 0900. Too late as I needed to be on the road for work.

As we were attending a party nearby, the location was perfect. The village is absolutely idyllic!

Disappointed that there was no breakfast. However, cafe across the road did a nice scrambled egg on toast & coffee

I had a lovely visit. I met someone for lunch and then stayed over. My only comment would be that our table faced the door and the room we ate in was quite cold and when we asked if we could move somewhere warmer we got a cool no! In terms of my stay the room was fabulous, the bed super comfortable and the shower very powerful. However the milk in the fridge had gone sour and by the time I discovered this it was too late to get some more.

Very nice, modern, recently updated rooms. Beer and food good. Lovely rural location in a nice village. Breakfast is not available, but the very nice post office / village shop /cafe, less than 100m walk opens at 08:00.

Allowed us to check-in early which was perfect as we were going to a wedding nearby. Really friendly, isolated rooms away from the pub and really quiet so had a great night sleep.

Thought they did breakfast as it looks like it on web site, advised to go to local cafe/farm shop for breakfast but chef on holiday so rubbish. (Ladies in shop told advised us where to go). Some where to put holder down, suitcase down. We stayed 2 nights roomed not serviced so coffee not replenished.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Really helpful staff and great food!!!
