ESIEThe house is located literally in the centre of Newport, right at the end of a quiet street, beside cafes, pubs and Centra (supermarket). Westport is a 10 minute drive, and Castlebar around 30 minutes away. Finding the house was easy and getting inside was very easy too. The host was really helpful and accommodating via message :) The standard of the house inside is amazing, it feels like a home you could move right into! We didn't want to leave, we found it so cosy. Kitchen/bathroom are well stocked with all you need. We cooked a lot during our stay and found there were lots of good quality pots and pans to work with, which was a nice surprise. Beds are very comfy (but everyone has different tastes when it comes to mattresses!). The house is warm even without the heating on, and the TV (which is huge) made for a nice movie night. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place - I would happily return in a heartbeat. Thank you Shannon for letting us stay at your property :)

GBThis house is a gem, a cut well above the norm for Irish holiday rentals - not a hint of pine to be seen anywhere. The living room is simply but very nicely furnished with two sofas, a coffee table, a tv and a dresser. The kitchen seems to be fully equipped - at any rate it provided us with everything we needed during our brief stay. There's no garden but there is a patio at the back. The front opens directly onto the lane but the lane is a dead end so there's no passing traffic. The main bedroom upstairs has a large double bed and the middle bedroom has bunks. The third bedroom has a double bed that occupies the full width of the small room so no space for bedside tables. To get into bed you have to clamber from the foot to the head - but so what, you're on holiday. The bathroom is what you might expect for a house of this quality. All in all, there's a touch of class and design here and I have nothing negative to say about it. Clearly their guests matter.

IEAbsolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean charming cottage, well located, only a couple of minutes walk to the shop, restaurants. Excellent base for exploring Connemara and Achill. Fantastic amenities and really easy to check in! Would love to return!
