Location, home baking and attentive host.

The shower was a bit temperamental, difficult to get the balance between too hot and too cold.

Fresh bread, fresh eggs and honeycomb provided! Host was very nice and she was very conscientious on making sure we were well provided for. Property spotlessly clean. Booked it to be close to Black Isle show ground and Inverness.

Mooie locatie, prachtige tuin, bungalow was van alle gemakken voorzien en had omheinde tuin wat heel handig was voor de hond. Liz, de eigenaresse was geweldig en deed er alles aan om het ons naar de zin te maken, inclusief het bakken van eigen brood, wat heerlijk was.

Unsere Zeit in der Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft. Liz ist eine der herzlichsten und bemühtesten Gastgeberinnen, die wir je erlebt haben. Sie hat einen beeindruckenden Garten, in dem sie Gemüse, Beeren, Kräuter und vieles mehr anbaut – und wir durften nach Herzenslust ernten, was uns sehr begeistert hat. Als besonderes Highlight gab es frische Eier von ihren Hühnern, Honig von den eigenen Bienen und köstlich selbstgebackenes Brot – alles Teil ihres großzügigen Willkommenspakets. Man spürt bei jedem Detail, wie viel Herzblut Liz in ihre Unterkunft steckt. Auch die Anwesenheit ihrer freundlichen Katzen war ein schöner Bonus und hat unseren Aufenthalt noch heimeliger gemacht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen – sie ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes.

Liz was a fantastic host during our time at the bungalow. She provided milk, eggs from her hens and delicious bread upon arrival. She also provided many brilliant recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to eat. The bungalow was great itself - comfy and plenty of utensils and pans which was useful for when making food. The beds were comfy and it was super easy to park in front of the bungalow.
