Finest Retreats - Valley View

We loved how beautiful the building is and the fact that there is literally anything you would need in this apartment. It's vast, it's clean, it's cozy, lovely views from the windows. We were apprehensive of the parking as others commented it was super narrow. It is narrow but it's totally fine if you can drive ;)

The main door is the sort that locks you out if you get out without the keys, no room for mistakes here...

It is clear that the owner of the flat has been making an effort to make guests feel comfortable and welcome through many little touches, and overall the flat is cosy and heats up quickly. We especially liked the bathroom and the views to the rear.

There are two main problems: the first one is the car park, which is a nightmare to get into...and only in the welcome pack it mentioned that the car park is "only for small to medium sized cars". Well, we had a larger car...and ended up scratching it despite our best efforts. And I think if you are not used to this car park you will struggle even with a small car. The other one is that it takes five flights of stairs to get to the flat. So anybody who has a disability or is not particularly fit will struggle every time they get up the stairs. Another little problem is the pillows which are very hard...so we did not really manage to get comfortable. But I guess this is a matter of taste

Cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more with great decor and a lovely atmosphere.

Honestly, there's nothing to fault. We thought a shoe wrack could be useful in the hall but this is a minor thing and more of a suggestion than a problem.

Location close to family.

Stairs to property, allocated parking space was taken. Left voice mail with finest retreats still not answered, luckily my uncle owns first floor flat where my cousin lives and they sorted the vehicle in my spot. Still haven't had reply from finest retreats. The alleyway driveway and parking could be difficult if not very confident at driving or parking. Roof leaking into bedroom.

Great location. Lovely apt which has everything you need. Parking was a bonus but difficult to get into with a large car.

The beds were small doubles that were hard and uncomfortable. The rooms were large and could easily take a larger bed.

It had everything you need and more. Highly recommend
