Very nice house !!

Everything was perfect!

Everything , location, view, quiet place.

Εξαιρετική θέα, άνετα μπαλκόνια. Πεντακάθαρα δωμάτια. Άκρως ικανοποιητικός ο εξοπλισμός της κουζίνας. Άνετα μπάνια σε κάθε υπνοδωμάτιο συν ένα ακόμη στο ισόγειο. Επαρκείς χώροι για αποσκευές κλπ. Αν και υπήρχαν τρία κλιματιστικά στον χώρο, δεν χρειαστήκαμε κανένα. Μείναμε Αύγουστο αλλά ήταν πολύ δροσερά. Τα κρεβάτια άνετα και μεγάλα: είχαμε 1 διπλό και 2 μονά. Μην ξεχάσω και τον προσωπικό χώρο στάθμευσης.

Fantastic seaview from double balconies. Watching sunrise from upper balcony, coming up directly from the sea, at 6.15 AM, is pure magic. Nice house, optimal for 4 persons (extra bed is possible in living room). Well kept house. Clean and nothing broken. Perfect location. Near, but not disturbingly near, main road, for reaching all different places in western Crete. A bit of a distance to the beach at Tavronitis, closer to Tavronitis centre. All reachable by foot, but it’s a tough walk home from the beach at daytime, upwards in the sun. A car is needed when staying here. Very nice manager, Eleni, took care of us. We appreciated very much the welcoming cookies, homemade jam, juices and water etc at arrival. She gave us useful information on sights to see and restaurants to visit. Highly recommended!

Just details! The fridge is perhaps not perfect working. Hard to keep drinks cold enough. Gets icy inside. There are perhaps a little too many insects from the surrounding olive groves and other farmland in the area, they tend to also go into the house. But this can be managed by being careful to close the bugs-net in the doorways or keeping doors shut.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Selita, it was very well equipped and had a spectacular view, great location with walkable local village and close pebbly beach. Ideal location to visit the amazing beaches on the west coast. Not far from the airport, and the lovely waterfront restaurants in Chania old Town.

The only thing was two of the nights the shower water pressure wasn't good, after a day at the beach we struggled to wash our hair and shower. However all the other days there was no issue.
