Heating went off far too early and couldn’t turn it on

We had a wonderful stay. The house was absolutely lovely and exactly what we were looking for. It was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, which made the whole experience really comfortable and easy. The surrounding area is stunning, with amazing views, beautiful walks, and plenty of interesting spots nearby to explore. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The only downside for us was the WiFi. We needed to work remotely during our stay, and unfortunately the signal was quite limited. It only reliably reached the table in the living room and didn’t extend upstairs, which made it a bit tricky since we needed separate working spaces.

Mari, the host was very welcoming and always available if needed, despite it being a managed property. Bedrooms and bathroom upstairs with kitchen, lounge and eating area downstairs. The property was well equipped. Besides the microwave, there was a dishwasher, separate freezer and fridge, washing machine and clothes dryer. Quiet property despite it being on a connection road. Wi-Fi generally good during the 7 nights we stayed. Free off-street parking.

No shops or facilities nearby, requiring just a 5 minute drive to town.

Wir entschieden uns bei unserem Aufenthalt im Eryri-Nationalpark für die Unterkunft "Finest Retreats - Maes Neuadd", da sie ein relativ gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bot. Uns war dabei ein eigenes Schlafzimmer für unseren Sohn, eine gute Lage und ein Parkplatz wichtig. All dies war hier gegeben. Die Unterkunft bietet auf 2 Ebenen mehr als genügend Platz, ist gut ausgestattet und war auch sauber. Der Check-in erfolgte problemlos mittels Schlüssel-Safe. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar an einer Straße, der Verkehr war aber quasi nicht zu hören, so dass man ungestört war. Der Parkplatz nahe der Unterkunft war gut markiert und man ist mit wenigen Schritten am Eingang. Als Begrüßungsgeschenk gab es zwei Flaschen Bier plus einen Frühstücks-Gutschein für das Lakeside Café, was wir sehr nett fanden. Von der Unterkunft aus konnte man die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten dieser wunderschönen Gegend hervorragend erkunden.

Die Matratzen waren etwas weich, wir konnten aber dennoch ganz gut darin schlafen. Wie quasi überall in Großbritannien konnte man die Schlafzimmer nicht komplett verdunkeln. Insgesamt hat uns die Unterkunft aber sehr gut gefallen und wir würden sie auf alle Fälle wieder buchen.

Location was excellent, rest was terrible !

On arrival in under 5 mins of accessing the property we had a knock on the door from the owner stating we had to move the car even though we was just about to start unpacking, she stated there would be issues with neighbour !, on unpacking the car both me and the wife witnessed the neighbour videoing us unpack via his phone held out at arms length towards us... VERY BAD !, after unpacking we went out for a short time and when we returned another car was parked where we originally was this blocked the area for the next 3-4 days. Kitchen- Full of flies, smell of rotting meat, we could not find where this smell was coming from, infestation of slugs in the kitchen over several nights (appears these slugs only came out at night as we spotted MANY for 3+ nights) On arrival we checked the cutlery and plates etc they were NOT clean, some had crusted on food from previous guests One day the toaster tripped out the fuse box on the plugs we called the owner who had to physically lift the fridge out of the way to gain access to the fuse box which is against health and safety regulations in regards to 'safety' as we could NOT gain access to turn the electric off if a hazard had occurred ! We originally had ONLY 2 pans Living room - One of the couch's had a foot missing ( never noticed this even in the pictures what we viewed on the website for this property ! Property states TV yet there was NO terrestrial (analogue channels), NO cable or firestick in short NO live TV so NO news etc, we were then told by the female owner they would obtain a firestick for us as this is what they use so we could watch LIVE tv, 1 day later we were then refused a firestick so again NO live TV and we was told YOU can buy films !, so we were lied to about the firestick, we were then told by this male they also did NOT have live TV or a firestick so it was lies after lies.
