My stay was excellent apart from a lonely roach who creeped in.

Beautiful outside, with a balcony with a nice mountain view. Probably the nicest shower in St Lucia (hot and strong). A friendly dog welcomed us! The couch and kitchen area was comfortable and cozy.

No one was there to meet us at check in and no one answered me when I messaged and called. We had to knock on a neighbor’s door to see if she knew how to get in contact with him! We waited an hour before she finally got in touch with someone and we were told one of the rooms was open and to just go in. Then, even though check out was 11, the owner called and woke me up at 8:30 in the morning to pay him right then because he had to go to work. Oh and by the way he doesn’t take credit cards (even though I was under the impression payment had been taken care of when I entered my credit card on booking, as with every other property). The place had a serious ant problem - you can’t leave ANY food out or it will be overrun in 5 mins. Also a ton of mosquitoes, which, yes, it is the tropics and unavoidable, but hotels need to either put screens in the windows or a mosquito net over the bed. Which everywhere else on the island did, but not here.
