Sundinia Home, Vista sul Mare

This was a lovely place to spend our last night in Sardinia. We enjoyed the sea view and sitting on the terrace in the evening watching the sun set over Porto Torres. We were particularly grateful to Antonio and his mother for looking after our luggage for us before our evening ferry departure.

The host came across as unfriendly - no "did the self-check in go well", no instructions on where to leave the keys at check-out, no "have a nice trip" or even asking if we enjoyed the trip - nothing. I think he wasn't happy that we could not give him the exact check in time, even though we had input a timeframe of one hour into Booking.com and we were just landing on that day. We only booked this property because it was the only one within 30mins of the airport that allowed check-in until 10 according to Booking.com. It's not our fault we cannot calculate to the tiniest minute how traffic conditions will be and if our flight will be delayed or not. A little courtesy goes a long way, and no need to be rude to guests, if you don't want guests to check in at 10pm (and we arrived at 8:50), change it to an earlier time on Booking.com. (also: no free water bottle in the fridge which every host so far has provided). For 80 Euros a night I expect at least check out instructions or "how was your stay"/some kind of kind message. The shower kept falling down and was just kept in place by a rubber band - water pressure not too good either. We only stayed for one night, but there was a power cut from around 9 or 10 am - we had to carry our luggage down four flights of stairs because the elevator didn't work - did the host tell us about it? No. My partner said there were no batteries in two of the remotes for the AC and he had to take the TV batteries for it. I was okay without AC but my partner was too hot. Why leave an empty remote next to the bed? I would have given 10 stars if the host had been friendlier and if we had been advised that there's a possibility of power cuts in the building.

Great location, close to both the town centre and the promenade. Nice appartment, nice ammenties, very nice hosts.
