Happy Days Lodge with Hot Tub

The lodge was spacious and bright,

Everything you may need in a home from home, iron, hairdryer etc. clean & tidy

Trees blocked sunshine from patio

Peaceful, clean and good sized hot tub. Close to the water park five minutes down the road. The pub restaurant was great too.

£200 deposit to pay and then found a few marks on the walls etc when checking in. The marks didn’t bother us, only the worry that we might lose our deposit for other people’s mishaps.

Clean, well equipped, spacious and a lovely setting. Hot tub is set into the deck so easier to access. The site is well laid out so that there is plenty of space around the lodges. As a result it feels quiet even in the summer holidays. The onsite restaurant served a huge variety of food, and is well worth a visit, but do book.

Although messages advised that check in could be up until 6pm and we advised that we would be there between 5.30 and 6pm we were telephoned by site to tell us that reception shuts at 5pm. We were given access codes etc. by email but this could cause issues for other visitors.

Fantastic lodge, stayed with my partner my son his wife and 2 children. We had a lovely time staff arranged decorating for my sons 30th surprise. Hot tub was lovely and clean. Very welcoming.

Having to report bedroom carpet being wet suspected from leaking bath plug and it not being rectified.

previous occupants must have had a dog kept finding dog hairs stuck to our clothes and on the furniture and floating about when you plump the cushions or covers

The lodge was beautiful and the fact we had our own private hot tub was even better.. We liked where the lodge was and it was easy to find as they provided us with a map

The only couple of niggles we had was there was empty chocolate wrappers in the draw, and under the pull out sofa bed and no duvet cover for the quilt for the sofa bed (the staff sorted this straight away)
