Cosy Rooms in a Stone Cottage

Very nice room and Ronnie was a very helpful host. He gave us heaps of good tips including for our trip further afield (we headed north to Sligo), as well as a beautiful loop around the Connemara area.

Nothing - but Google maps took us on a “back roads” trip to get there - to fellow travellers, we suggest you take the N59 and turn off onto Oranswell road, and use the property eircode once you are on Oranswell road - so much easier.

Il cottage è molto accogliente e pulitissimo, la nostra camera per due dotata di bagno con doccia era molto intima, luminosa e confortevole. Letto comodo e stanza silenziosa. Dotata di ogni confort. Il cottage ha un comodo parcheggio di fronte alla casa che dista 10’ o 15’ dal centro di Galway per cui comodo per gli spostamenti. Inoltre è vicina alle attrazioni più interessanti come Salthill, il Connemara National Park che merita una gita in giornata A/R, e ai traghetti che ti portano alle isole Aran, la località è Rossaveel e il primo Ferry parte alle 10:30, meglio acquistare i ticket online. Ronald è l’host perfetto che vi potrà dare tutte le informazioni per vivere al meglio la vostra vacanza.

Loved the experience. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, it was amazing. Very nice house, with good breakfast included, such amazing hosts. I highly recommend it.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Fantastisk och personlig värd som gav många fina tips på trevliga utflykter. Vi gjorde en lång dag norr om Galway och en ’normal’ full dag söder om Galway. Mycket trevligt. Boendet överträffade våra förväntningar.

Det låg ca 15 min från Galway centrum. Men det visste vi när vi bokade.

Very convenient location to explore Connemara, Galway, as far north as Mayo. The host, Ronnie, is very hospitable and helpful, and he gave us great tips on the area and our journey. He welcomed us with apple pie and gave us water and snacks for the way! The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we felt like we were staying at a friend’s place. Big bonus points for the huge bathtub in our room’s bathroom! Breakfast was provided, which was lovely.

Cottage curato ed accogliente alle porte di Galway. Facilmente raggiungibile (noi eravamo in auto) e in mezzo al verde. Stanza molto pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. Padrone di casa adorabile! Ronnie ci ha accolto con torta di mele e gelato e ci ha fornito consigli sul viaggio durante tutta la permanenza.

Suggerirei solo di arricchire un po’ la colazione, ma tutto perfetto!
