Cosy Rooms in a Stone Cottage

Ronnie was the nicest host we could’ve asked for! He provided us with local knowledge as well as rides to and from the city center! The bed was so comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean!

Absolutely everything!! The cleannesses, the warmth, the smell, and the treatment from Ronnie was absolutely the best! The tv on the room.. all the channels you can ask for !! We will come back soon!!

Ronnie was an absolutely fantastic host!! :) He helped with amazing recommendations all along the way, from food to activities and even the best places to park. He's lovely to chat with and just overall made us feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was the perfect size for the two of us. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot outside of the city but that's still close to Galway and easy access to so much of the beautiful Irish countryside.

Ronnie is a wonderful host. He looked after me very well. The place is very well kept and maintained. He is very thoughtful, he had breakfast ready in the morning and gave me some home made desserts in afternoon. He Recommended a few places for food. I really enjoyed my stay and I look forward to being there again in the future. Lots of space for parking.

Just the roads to the cottage we're small country side type of roads. But you get used to them quickly. Just need to be cautious driving, especially at night time.

Stayed here for three nights ,host was fabulous ,great non intrusive greeting with homemade apple pie n icecream, which was so nice considering the cold weather .had everything I could ask for ..room was warm and cosy . The drive up was a bit unusual for this wide open space australian ( peak starts early in Galway) . The host can also pick up or drop of in town for those travelling without a car 🚗 plus taxi will get you there as well . Great stay highly recommend if you want peace n quiet 🤫

Ronnie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. He was always available via phone to give us recommendations or help us out if we had questions. His hospitality made our stay super enjoyable, he thinks of every detail and truly cares. The room is comfortable, cozy and homey. We loved that it was close enough to town centre for activities but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here as we would not have had as fun of a stay in Galway without Ronnie’s help :)

The whole experience of staying in Ronnie's home was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was greated with warmth and kindness. The property is extremely well looked after, quiet, clean and warm. Super fast wifi and in my room I had a flat screen tv with all the channels. I arrived late and was greated with warm apple pie and ice cream, which was fantastic. On the second evening I received a text message to say I'd have my dinner ready for when I got back, which was very unexpected. On arriving back from my training course day, i was great with a delicous home made spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread... yummy. It was a busy 4 days for myself during the stay and the home was the ideal place to get back to and relax. After I left early on the last day I received a phone call to say i'd left my small suitcase! Ronnie was nothing but helpful and packaged the suitcase up and helped me arrange collection for delivery back to the UK. There is nothing that is a problem for Ronnie, who is a wonderful human being.
