El Mirador Altos de Santa Ana

Miguel is an excellent host. He patiently waited for us to arrive which was unexpectedly quite late in the evening. After telling us exactly where we could park for free (just a short walk from the apartment and literally free all day every day), he gave us the grand tour of the apartment before giving us his phone number so that we could ask him any other questions we might have during our stay. We did message him a few times to ask for tips and hints for places to go and he responded quickly in plenty of detail. We were very impressed with the air conditioning in the apartment; it worked so well and efficiently circulated around all the rooms. In 40+ degree heat, you really appreciate this! The apartment is exactly like the pictures. We love the personal touches and all the decorations - very tasteful and homely. The smart TV is great for afternoon siestas to escape the heat; we were able to access our Prime and Netflix accounts easily. We wished we would have made more of the upstairs terrace but it was just too warm. It is (unlike some of the reviews suggest) a private terrace - we were given a key to access this. The views from there are simply spectacular! The apartment itself is centrally located. You can walk to all the best parts of the city from here with plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep! We would definitely try and book this place if we were to visit Cordoba again.

My only comment would be to provide a kettle. There is a stovetop coffee maker but I (in my ignorance) had no idea how to use this! I also found the bed and pillows slightly firm but my partner said they were fine so I think it's just down to personal taste!
