Villa Atlantico - Planta Baja

Amazing property, everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, nice size pool, 2 bathrooms & a fully equipped kitchen inc dishwasher & washing machine. The host was very helpful on arrival & also when WiFi stopped working.

Location, difficult to find, both local taxis & mobility scooter guy got lost. It is hidden away up a dirt road, so I would advise hiring a car. Local taxis refused to drive up dirt road at night, one nice taxi guy dropped us off on the dual carriage way, just a few steps to gate, not sure how legal that was but it was appreciated. Not a lot of restaurants in Playa Honda, we went to Puerto del Carmen a couple of times, it was worth the taxi fare & spoiled for choice with restaurants & bars.

The property was clean, modern and comfortable and the facilities were very good in the villa. The host was very friendly and helpful, she kindly presented us with a welcome pack upon arrival. We would highly recommend ’La Opera’ restaurant, which is only a 10 minute walk.

The location of the villa was a bit of a walk for us, up an unmade dusty road, which was very dark at night. It’s close to the airport, but the plane noise was not a problem as the road noise from the highway exceeded this! The sun beds provided were a little uncomfortable, sun lounger cushions were needed. There is no outside seating area, other than the sun beds. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and shared the pool with the guests staying upstairs, they had lovely views overlooking the sea, whereas we didn’t have any views.

The facilities are excellent and the location was very good and only a few minutes walk to the sea front and loalcal shopping centre. The airport is quite close but the noise is minimal and you don't realise the planes most of the time. The accommodation is very good and perfe t of you have two families and get both the upstairs and ground floor villas as the whole place to yourself.

There isn't anything we disliked.

The apartment was very clean and well-equipped. The place is situated in a well-connected area, with easy access to shops and restaurants. We worried about the noise because it's near the airport, but the noise isolation was pretty good.

Even though you can't hear planes, there is a really loud hydrophore above the downstairs room that turns on and rumbles whenever water runs anywhere in the house. Also, one of the bathrooms has no door, which isn't really comfortable.

Apartment was well provided for with utensils and basic cooking items supplied. Very clean and comfortable. Only a 5-10 minute walk to beach, cafes and supermarket.

Location is on the edge of town so approach to house is a little rustic. Also located next to the dual carriageway so a little noisy at times. Would have been nice to have an outside dining table.
