The Inn on the Olde Homestead

Ambiance, Staff, food, privacy, restaurant.

Seniors had a challenge getting up onto very high bed.

The place was charming, and they obviously take a lot of pride in the facilities.

Shampoo was not provided, and the liquid shower soap was not a personal size but in an almost empty large-sized container. The continental breakfast was haphazard.

Place is kept meticulously and beautifully on theme, in the 1850s... no TVs, beautiful grounds, period furniture and art... the lady who runs it takes care of it immaculately... Every morning fruit is cut up and fresh pastries and orange juice... Lovely place... would recommend very much as an alternate to the normal hotel of the area...

The nostalgic feel. The breakfast was just enough to start the day. The owner’s hospitality.

Nothing

The owner was not there to greet us. She did give us a code so we could enter the house, but we weren’t told which room we were in.

Very unique property. Nice and quiet, but close to civilization.

There was a little miss-communication between us and the manager. She worked it out really quickly. However, the solution involved staying with a room without a bathroom. We had to walk outside to the main building for our bathroom. It was no problem for us, but could be an issue if it was raining or other bad weather.

Breakfast was very good, great food, very friendly, nice presentation. Kari is a great host. If I am ever in the area again I would stay again.

A tv would have been a great add.

The host had made a wonderful croissant with fresh fruit and juice for our breakfast. We had to leave earlier than other guests, where she went out of her way to have it ready for us.

Everything was perfect. A radio would have a been a nice addition.
