The host was very rude. Lights and fan weren’t working. TV wasn’t user friendly. The towels smelt and had to wait an hour to collect the key from the host. Will NOT recommend this unit.

I’m satisfied with the house and the basic facilities provided. The owner asked me to inform her 1 hour before arrival, and when I did (saying we’d arrive at 3:00), we still had to wait around 45 minutes to an hour. Phew. On the bright side, the owner kindly allowed us to check out an hour later. Parking was free and plentiful.

I was not informed beforehand that homestay guests are not allowed to use the gym facilities, so I was denied entry. Luckily, I could still work out in the garden. Some areas could be improved: 1. Remotes (TV, fan, air-conditioner) — most had limited functions and required battery changes depending on which remote I wanted to use. The TV might not have worked because of the remote, but I’m not sure. 2. Toiletries — the ones provided were no longer usable. It would be better to at least provide basic body shampoo and hair shampoo. Towels were provided, which was good. 3. Cutlery — had an old, unpleasant smell even after washing. 4. Iron — was not functioning at all. Please replace it with a proper, working one.

Visiting from Vancouver, Canada and absolutely loved The Haven! A beautiful, serene resort nestled in capivating landscape and limestone hills. Property and pool are well maintained, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very pleased with the accommodations and would highly recommend.
