Beautiful Lodge Retreat - 3 Bedrooms - Sleeps 6

The size of the property and the overall cleanliness and attention to detain regarding decor and comfort was excellent. The property including the kitchen was spotless apart from the oven. The beds were comfortable, loved the living room decor and variety of seating.

Property took a while to heat up when we arrived, would have been better if property slightly warmer on arrival. The oven racks were not clean so had to do a lot of scrubbing and the oven had a very strong meaty smell when switched on. We are vegetarians so that was not pleasant and off-putting.

This lodge is beautiful on the inside, super clean, modern with a fresh beach lodge feel. It really is massive. We had a toddler running around with so much space without worrying about bumping into things or knocking things over! Sam & Justine left us a welcome pack with all the info we needed and on the run up to our short holiday/family visit, they were constantly in touch, keeping us up to date and ready for our stay. It has all the amenities you could ask for - a dishwasher, a built-in fridge freezer, an oven and many of the little essentials you need when staying away - toilet roll, hand wash etc. The rooms really were stunning, and the bedrooms were dressed perfectly with crisp clean bedding and towels. The lounge/dining area is so cosy and inviting with little personal touches throughout. The outside furniture is fab also, we didn't have the weather unfortunately to fully appreciate it, however if it had of been, there is plenty of large seating/lounging furniture with lots of cushions for a very comfortable outdoor experience. It has a bathroom and a separate shower room, both with sinks and toilets that are again clean, fresh, and welcoming. The decor is second to none throughout the lodge and has all the equipment and facilities of the home... we will definitely love to return to this particular lodge the next time we visit Woolacombe. Thank you to the owners - the lodge made our stay that little bit more special.

very comfortable & quiet

No washing machine

We have a fantastic stay at the lodge. Very peaceful and right in between a short drive to ilfacoombe and woolacoombe. Ideal location. The lodge was incredible comfortable and very clean. The owners of the lodge were at hand if we needed anything and was very quick to reply with any questions we had. We were sad to leave and can not wait to go back. 4 of us stayed two adults to 14 year old children and we all just loved it. Can not recommend enough.

The location was excellent it was within driving distance to two popular resorts, woolacombe beach and illfracombe harbour our a must see!

Me and my husband think the only thing that could be better is the holiday park overall having more things to do on site but that wouldn’t put us off coming again.
