Don Raffaè - Luxury Apartment

The location is perfection! We were in the heart of Forio, with restaurants and shops within a few feet. The port area is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. It was very comfortable for 3 women traveling together. There was a balcony off every bedroom, with the exception of the loft, so you have a birds eye view of all the action in the piazza. The rooftop deck was magnificent and we spent most of our evenings up there looking at the port, the lights in the hills, the moon, and a tower that looks like a castle, illuminated by lights. The owners were lovely and answered any questions we had within minutes. They even left some yogurt for us in the refrigerator, although we thought there would be a bit more for breakfast, based on the booking.com description and some of the reviews we read. No big deal though because there are several cafes all within a few steps of the apartment.

Be aware that there are a lot of stairs inside the apartment, but that is typical in Italy and didn't bother us. The loft bedroom is open to the master bedroom below, which was not a problem for us either, but does hinder privacy, if that's what you're seeking. The second washing machine on the roof was not working, but there is another one in the kitchen. We did hope to have two working machines because there were three of us that needed to do laundry and the machine was small, but we managed. Again, it was not a big deal.

The place is FANTASTIC with a spectacular view from the rooftop. The location is very convenient and close to everything. It has a perfect connection for all activities possible on the island and takes around 2-3 min from the port, taxi, and bus stops. The apartment is very clean and cozy, and Anna is the host who really cares about your stay and comfort. She was checking with us every day! Her warm welcome made our stay truly enjoyable! Thanks a lot!

There are no minuses there. Only a small recommendation to make your place even more better and comfortable, get some bath soap, and shampoo.
