Budget Friendly Stay - HS2 - New St - Private Parking

- Good location, close to the city centre (town). - When asked, we were provided with a hairdryer. - Nice gesture - fresh fruits in the living room. - The owner/manager responded quite quickly and offered a visit when we needed help with the thermostat.

- The flat was extremely dirty and the pictures on the site did not represent the apartment's current state. The floor was sticky, the rug in the sleeping room seemed to not have been vaccumed. There were 2 black hair on one of the beds.The kitchenware in the drawer, plates and cutlery, were sticky too. The bin had a sticky lid. - The ventilator in the bathroom was missing a part, so the cold air was getting in. - The window in the living room was not insulated enough - if not for the curtain, people would easily get cold. - The mattresses were springy and loud, also very much used, so the surface itself was not flat - it was uncomfortable to sleep. The bed linen had some holes. - The main door had a slit, so we could perfectly hear our neighbours going in and out, as well as their children screaming.

Spacious property not too far from centre, also had spare towels and sheets and blankets

Stay was great, potential more kitchen things

The flat was really nicely presented and very clean which is always a great start. It was secure with a double lock on the door, and had its own private parking space which was very handy. The couple of neighbours I bumped into were also very friendly. The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night meaning I got a good sleep. I was visiting St Andrews stadium and the location is perfect for that being a 10 minute walk.

There were a couple of damaged items in the flat such as a damaged holder for the shower head, and a hole in the bedroom wall where the door handle had hit it. However these were minor and not a problem.

Overall it was clean, shower was really good and no noise concerns in a very good area where no noise is made. Very close to the bullring and grand central.

Some damage items didn’t effect my stay but just caught attention window handle broken and hole in the wall obviously not owners fault but should let guest know before hand. Also ripped sofa wasn’t really ideal.
