USThe apartment at 12 Charlotte Mews was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our family visiting Newcastle from the USA. We found the location very convenient, as we did not have a car. Centrally located and short walking distance to Central and Monument stations for easy Metro and train access. Plenty of nearby restaurants and pubs. Groceries were within a block or so. Really appreciated how quiet this location was vs. staying at a hotel. Newcastle seemed to get pretty noisy at night. Also, the host Fathiya provided excellent communication throughout the booking process as well as being quick and responsive to our emails and questions. She also went above and beyond when I misplaced the keys after being out all day in Edinburgh and called her at 10 pm on a Friday night. She had a backup set dropped off within 15 minutes! Amazing! We would definitely recommend staying at 12 Charlotte Mews if you're ever staying in Newcastle. Great experience!
Nothing stands out as a negative in our stay. The apartment had everything we needed for our family. The entrance is a shared door and wasn't the most obvious to identify at first, but that was probably due to us being really tired from 12 hours of traveling from overseas.

The shower kept tripping off and the radiator fell off the wall. Once I’d contacted the owner, they came out the next day to fix the radiator but the shower was still broken and tripped off every minute.
