"Confirmed booking not honoured"

I arrived with a confirmed booking and was told the place was full. They offered an alternate accommodation 7km away, when I had booked this place primarily for its proximity to where I needed to be. Manager was called by staff member on telephone and informed that I had a confirmed reservation that could not be fulfilled, he did not bother to speak to me or apologise.
