Copse View Lodge with Hot Tub

Nothing everything for us was spot on

The property was nicely set out. We enjoyed the hot tub on the first day when we were able to use it.

I didn’t like that there was insufficient items such as , the dining table has 4 chairs but there was 5 of us, there was not enough mugs, random drinks glasses again not enough for 5 guests. The single beds are small, big enough for children but not the best for adults. During our stay the shower wasn’t draining, maintenance came out but it was only we used it the next day we found the problem hadn’t been fixed. Some areas such as the fan in the kitchen were not to a good standard of cleanliness. Unfortunately there was a power cut for the majority of our second day- 11.00am-9.30pm although I understand that this was out the park’s control the communication regarding it was poor, there was no support offered in the way of lighting or food. I was disappointed that the park didn’t feel that as a good will gesture they would offer a partial refund, suggesting claiming in travel insurance.

We went with a group of 5 people, the lodge advert says it's suitable for 6, but there were only 4 chairs for the dinner table, 2 wine glasses, and 3 prosecco glasses. I asked for another dining chair and some prosecco glasses, as we were celebrating a birthday and making dinner. I was told there are no more dining chairs, that's how the units come with 4 chairs and that's it.. there were a couple of bar stools for the breakfast table, but who wants to sit separately when having meal? I was also told there are no prosecco glasses.. I wouldn't go if you have more than 4 people going and you want to eat together
