Villa Chianti, your Secret 4 Bedrooms Retreat with View over the Vineyards in Marcialla

Das Haus war perfekt für uns, wir waren 3 Paare und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles da, was wir benötigten. Die Schlafräume sehr ruhig gelegen. Sehr zentrale Lage für unsere Ausflüge. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bekommen. Der Garten lädt zum gemütlichen Ausruhen ein. Uns allen hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Parken am Abend etwas schwierig. Viel Verkehr durch den Ort.

Wonderful location in a quaint town. convenient for day trips to other villages. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. We loved being directly across the square from a delightful small market where I obtained fruits, meats, cheeses, bread for breakfast every morning.

The drive is steep and hard to maneuver with our big rental van but we managed. We were never able to find parking space in the town to avoid the driveway.

We spent eight nights at Andrea’s Villa in mid-July. We were two adults and three teenagers. The space: better than advertised. The main part of the villa has a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. There is a/c in the bedroom and the living room. There is a staircase beside the living room that leads down to two more spacious bedrooms that share a bathroom. There is also a door down those same stairs that leads out to the garden. There is another set of stairs that lead down to a separate bedroom. The separate bedroom is very big, has a/c and its own bathroom. Our two teenage girls shared this room for eight nights and loved it. That bedroom has a patio door that leads out to the same garden. The villa is well stocked, spacious, comfortable and clean. The area is amazing. Beautiful five minute drive to a little town (Tavarnelle) with a great grocery store (Coop), great restaurants and gelato spot. There is also a smaller convenience store a one minute walk from the Villa with basic goods. From the Villa, we took day trips to Lucca, Siena, Florence, Venice and San Gimignano. It is really well located in Tuscany. The scenery around the Villa is beautiful. Vienyards and rolling hills. Andrea was helpful with all the local tips we needed, finding restaurants, groceries, even a b&b with a pool when we asked. He was responsive and courteous. I highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a home base in Tuscany.
