The Hideaway, lovely cosy place in Blandford Forum, Dorset

I absolutely loved my stay here — it felt like a home away from home. The space is beautifully set up and so cosy. They really pay attention to all the little details which made a big difference, like having a games cupboard with a poker set and board games which was such a nice touch. The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed including fresh towels, toiletries and even some essentials in the kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and the whole place felt really relaxing and peaceful. The host was also lovely, very friendly and provided clear information before we arrived so everything was easy and stress-free. The location was great too with shops and cafes nearby but still nice and quiet in the evenings. I would 100% stay here again — it’s definitely worth the money for how nice the place is and how well it’s looked after.

Very central. Quirky old building with sloping floors and exposed beams. Two double rooms and a single room. Good kitchen.

Very spacious property which was clean & tidy with everything we needed for a two night stay with friends. The mobile air conditioning unit was definitely a nice bonus!

Car parking had to be thought about, due to parking costs and very little available street parking.

Very clean and spacious. Fully equipped with extra consideration. Close to carpark and town. Great communication.

it was easy to access

starting with the fact the place is completely uneven feels like your on a boat walking up the stairs. beds uncomfortable but clean. it was so hot in the property it was unbearable we had to have the windows open the blinds are terrible letting the light in if there is a blind in the room that is. people screaming and shouting out side at 2am. then the church bells in the morning! i never complain but we didnt sleep at all.

Central location. Clean and well equipped

Had to pay for car parking. No curtains....unable to block out light early in morning. No point in coffee machine if pods not supplied. Smallest tea towel I have ever seen!
