Cameron's Cottage at The Lake

The owner contacted me while I was driving to this location and told me they had overbooked this location and needed me to cancel, so I would be charged full price. Very unprofessional.

I like that it’s off the beaten path, it was very clean and I loved listening to the rain on the screened porch.

The heat was on when we arrived (it was 85 degrees outside), so it was very uncomfortable to enter the home. Once we turned on the AC it took about an hour to cool down as there is not central heating or air it seems. The beds were pretty awful to be honest. I slept maybe 3 hours and woke up with back and neck pain as did my friends. There also wasn’t any checkout instructions that I could find. I had inquired about them but received no reply.

Jedynym minusem jest brak suszarki do włosów.

Unsure what to do with the trash?

This place is adorable. And perfect for what we needed. The lake is right down the road and the cabin is pleasant with great amenities. We had even forgotten our wallet and was able to get in touch quickly to turn around and retrieve it. We would definitely recommend it.

From the pictures we did thinking was a bit more secluded than it is. Your neighbors are very close. You are still in the woods but the neighbors are right there with you.

I received a code via email - worked as it should. The house is in a beautiful location in a small lake community on top of a mountain - really cool. The house was extremely clean. Internet access and TV were provided and easy to access. Coffee was stocked in the kitchen as well. We will definitely return in the future!

The only issue we experienced was that my wife and I didn't find the large bed comfortable. We are larger people (heavier than most) and this may have been a contributing factor. We were able to switch to the smaller twin beds later in the night and then we slept like large babies!

Went to take motorcycles on Tail of the Dragon so dirt roads by cottage was not very accessible so luckily we had bikes trailered
