Clachan Manse Bed & Breakfast

Wow what a place to stay the views are spectacular we was fortunate enough to wake up to stag outside the bedroom window it’s just beautiful and Terry went out her way to make you feel comfortable would definitely return in a heartbeat

The quiet! We live in the countryside but have never encountered silence and tranquillity like it. The place was spotless, the breakfast yummy, the room very comfortable. Good quality bedlinen, feather duvet, nice coffee. It was lovely to be able to support this local family, who obviously care passionately about their environment and community, to make an (all be it meagre) living. It's wonderful of them to share it with us.

The bed was too big!

A great location and a great stay. An unfortunate power cut overnight did not allow us to enjoy breakfast. The host was very communicative and even offered a refund.

Absolutely superb, the room is very tastefully furnished and very comfortable & spotlessly clean, the bathroom matches, this accommodation is a hidden gem and the breakfast served was a very hearty cooked breakfast along with a choice of cereals, fruit, croissants etc. to choose from. A very quiet and beautiful setting, a perfect getaway for a peaceful and relaxed stay, a stunning place for a romantic getaway 😊 the room affords total privacy 😉 with amazingly beautiful views. The host is very friendly and welcoming, really can't fault anything at all. Would absolutely return, I tried to add an extra night but unsurprisingly was already booked, early booking is advisable.

Loved the location and the view from my room. The bedroom was beautiful with added personal touches such as information about the family home. The bed was comfortable with lovely interior design. Walking distance to the Applecross Inn with a peaceful location.

Stunning location.

Nothing to dislike.

We spent our wedding night here and it was perfect. The room is very cosy with lovely design details, and a beautiful view out the sea. You are just a short walk across the beach from the lovely applecross inn. We had a little sea dip in the morning and it was amazing to see about 30 seals in the water, and a deer on the beach. The house is right next to a beautiful little church that you can explore, and there's a helpful guide book of places to visit in the room. Terry is a wonderful host, and made us an absolutely fantastic breakfast, she worked with my now-husbands mum to put a card and bottle of prosecco in the room. She also has a very lovely dog named Finn.

Cute little B&B in a stunning setting just a stone’s throw from the Applecross pass. Tery, the host, could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Defo recommend to anyone looking for a night’s stay visiting the area.
