This place is beautiful - both the loft and the vineyard. The staff are very friendly. We even got a free tour of the winery. Their wine is amazing too. Tina is a great host. I would definitely recommend this place.

The accommodation is comfortable, cosy and convenient, perched above the Gladstone Vineyard cellar with stunning views across the vines towards the surrounding hills. The location is wonderful, deep in the heart of the countryside. The night sky is amazing, a true dark sky domain. You have all the beauty of a peaceful rural location with the convenience of being close to the town life of Greytown and Carterton. Plus the friendly Gladstone pub is just a few minutes down the road.
We were fine with the steep steps up to the Loft but it may be a challenge for people with mobility issues.

The accommodation was great i would recommend and come back
The water pressure was terrible . I booked the property based on the amazing bath that took over an hour to fill with help from the jug . The shower was little more than a dribble and was cold even in warm water . If the water pressure was fine I would have given 10/10 but only gave because of this

The Loft is very spacious and comfortable, has a good private outdoor too. Wood burner worked perfectly and made our staying warm and cozy.

Fire was already prepared by the host, as was the sofa bed when we arrived. Even left us some chocolates on the pillows. Peaceful and beautiful location. Good size bathroom. Good wifi. Close to Urlar Vineyard and also the Gladstone pub, which is worth a visit
Bed is a little uncomfortable but not too bad. Mind the steps up to the room, might be a bit tricky for unsteady folk if wet We were there during Winter, so the Cellar door below was shut for the day unfortunately. Not a major really.
