The unit was clean and has enough basic necessities. They also provided extra mattresses...sejadah and telekung for use.

If the owner could add a mattress topper for the beds would surely add value and a pleasant sleeping experience for guests.

The unit was fairly clean. It is situated at the heart of Ipoh Town and everything was easy access.

1. There was a false fire alarm. All the residents came down and I had to bring my mum and aunty who are senior citizens down the stairs. We waited for 45 minutes at night only to be told by security guards that it was a false alarm and it always happens in the condo. There were no safety checks by the fire department and not even the management came to give the tenants clearance. I am quite surprised to see guards giving our reassurance when they are not trained to check fire/smokes. The guards told us that someone 'playfully' pressed the fire alarm and hence cause all the ruckus. 2. Be prepared to pay extra RM150 as a security deposit. It is not part of the exorbitant booking price. I never had homestays asking for additional security deposits when it should already be part of the charges. Yes the deposit is refundable but still it not not right to ask for extra security deposit when we are already paying so much. 3. No netflix/disney/amazon prime are part of the subscription when most hotels/homestays are including it as basic necessities. The owner casually told to use our own account as it is not part of the charges. 4. The master bedroom toilet has no heater, so we have to wait for the others to finish bathing in the common toilet to use the heater. 5. For all the downsides, the pricing is quite high, almost on par with 5 star hotels, for 2 days I had to fork out close to RM850 including the deposit. Otherwise with similar prices we could have chosen a 5 star hotel with proper facilities and safety.
