Did find a toe nail on our bed and the last guest drinks in the fridge, and you didn't want to walk around barefoot, but for what we were doing, it was fine

USLocation to where we wanted to stay was great. Room was very clean and recently updated. Loved that it's an old-style motel and you pull right up to the front door of your room. No office you can purchase your room online or scan a QR code and then given a room with a code to get your room key.
Beds were not comfortable but not bad. Road noise from highway since it was right off the road is loud. Gravel parking lot.

The refrigerator didn’t work at all, so our perishables were in dire need of chilling before our fishing trip. However, the ice machine in the parking lot didn’t take cash (which was all we had) even though the machine is equipped to… So we couldn’t fill the coolers with more ice, and the convenience store next door had already closed for the night. Thankfully, my dad showed up and I was able to use his card and give him the change. Related: his refrigerator was also garbage, so he had not cold sandwiches and Gatorade the next day. The WiFi was either not working, or didn’t reach beyond the owner’s apartment because we couldn’t connect a single time during our stay. The bathroom also had the long, black hairs of the previous occupant on the floor, and ledge of the tub. And the toilet seat wasn’t installed correctly. So any time we sat down, our legs got pinched hard between the seat and rim of the toilet. I get that this is mostly an RV and cabin lodge; but they also offer typical hotel rooms. Which to me, means they need to have the same seriousness when caring for those as the others receive. And given how much they charge for these rooms, it should at least be worth the money. Website says 24/7 booking but this is not reliable. No staff on site. Booked a room online the night of and didn't receive door code to room until next day. I did receive a refund but definitely not 24/7 booking.
