Margarida Guest House - Rooms Lisbon South by Rosado

Despite the house being on the other side of the Tajo river, access to Lisbon was quick (bus and boat). The host Isabela is very friendly (thanks for everything!). The stay was comfortable, but the house needs a little renovation.

The property seemed well-run and secure.

The property was clean and tidy but there were 2 red ants under the covers of my bed. So I decided not to stay. I left the key in the door and left that night and stayed with a friend. I think it’s a great option for a budget traveler, but it’s not what I’m accustomed to.

It was near the tram in the quiet district.

The place is exceptionally clean and I think the cleaner comes everyday to clean the house . The hosts are amazing , Danielle and Isabel who live next door will help you with anything . Lots of utensils and equipment in the kitchen to use .

We really enjoyed the stay except for one problem we encountered , another guest ( who only stayed for a couple of hours and we didn’t see ) took our food and some of the other guests from the fridge and left the kitchen and bathroom in quite a mess . I suppose there is always a small possibility of something like this in shared houses . Nevertheless, the hosts handled it very seriously when we told them and our food was re bought for us , the guest was contacted and they even showed us around Alamada which was really special . So a bad thing was turned into good thanks to them .

I really enjoyed my stay in Margarida Guest House. The host Nuno was very kind, available for everything I needed. The house and the room are very nice and clean and also the location is great, very quiet and just 10mins walking by the metro stop.
