Margarida Guest House - Rooms Lisbon South by Rosado

There was no breakfast. One could if one had food, do your own. If you used the kitchenware, you could not dry it as the cloth was not clean. The location was adequit for what I needed. I close distance to the theatre.

See above for the kitchen. I cannot understand the positive comments of others. maybe they had better rooms and experience with the owner. Money was taken off my account before my stay ánd a check-in form to fill out to save´time when checking in. (?) On arrival there was no one there, after ringing a few times, the taxi driver suggested I phone,although I arrived within the given times. Eventually the mother of whoever I spoke to on the phone, came to let me in. Then there was no key, the maid had taken it. I was offered somthing to drink (Camille tea !!!) and a few biscuits. The mother was pleasant and told me how to get to the theatre. Then I was left on my own. I never saw anyone from the Guest House after that. The room I discovered was exceptionally full of mold. I have taken photos. There was a small window that was almost fully covered by an picture of a young girl, nacked. Nothing against the artist but not a picture for a guest room. I was curious to see why the widow was covered. behind it was completely black mold. the ceiling and skirting boards had mold. Sheets were not really clean. Mattress uncomfortable. A few small cockroaches´on the floor. I was there only one night. My clothes and bags were all moist in the morning when I packed. There was also mold in the shared bathroom and that needs to completely renovated. This place needs help and not just take money from tourists. I know that people are struggling after 3 years of Pandemie, but this room I had is really a health hazard. The photos I took are even too disgusting to share.

everything the lady was amazing so polite my experience was just incredible i’d 100% stay again such a quiet place everything was always so clean

The property is situated in a basement

Our host was extremly nice and even brought us to the ferry station by car. The house was very nice, clean and equipped with everything a guest could ask for, even a washing machine. It was very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this place.
