Perla Marina en Rocas del Mar

I was met at the entrance by the very friendly Lorena who showed me to the apartment. She also told me about some basics like the card for sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool. The whole apartment and complex are spotlessly clean. There is plenty of room with a large balcony, which gets some lovely late afternoon sun. The main pool is huge and I had it to myself most days as people used the smaller, heated one instead. There's a nice bar with some lovely Belgian beers. The supermarket next door is very useful. Welcome drinks in the fridge was a nice touch too. Recommended for a quiet break.

If I was being really fussy, maybe a toaster would be useful.

The small(ish) second pool was heated and therefore you could swim every day even if it's colder. A few nice, local restaurants in easy walking distance.

There is no dedicated parking and parking can thus be a nightmare (and this was in March!). Be prepared for a 10 minute walk (or worse) IF you can find a space. [No car - no problem]. The supplied bottom bed sheet would not stay on the mattress, which is a minor issue, but a daily one!

Finding the apartment was a little difficult until I met the host

Well equipped and comfortable heated pool was lovely

The location is very nice: A few minutes from the sea shore. The balcony is lovely, you can see the the coast line.
