Palm Tree Lodge & Backpackers

The size of the room is small, with only six people. The staff were friendly and helpful (I made a mistake and checked out one day earlier, but the staff was able to put me back to the same room that I stayed in - not sure whether they can do that during the summer season.

The location of this hostel is a bit far away from the Maritime Building (where your InterCity bus stop is located).

Great location, our self contained room was very clean, comfortable and we got all what we needed, making it a great base camp for 2 nights. Very happy

Carpet in the main room/entrance made it hard to keep clean in wet muddy weather. We tried our best Otherwise all good, no TV but we did not care

It looked that housekeeper forgot to clean the room and only changed sheets. I saw hairs in shower and sink, shower was not cleaned. Also, fridge was not cleaned. I informed receptionist that bathroom and fridge are dirty. He came and cleaned it. Later, I also saw some dust in the room. I would recommend to double check the rooms before you check in guests. It would be nice to have TV in the room. There wasn't any chairs and table in the balcony.

The parking area was not the best setup, and there was no laundry room, although shown on the map.

We stayed here for two nights while we were visiting family. It was a handy location and had everything that we needed.

Well located property a short walk from all shops and amenities. Our apartment was spacious and very clean.
