Villa Stone Tree - Ljubanista

Good location on the hillside in the village with views over the lake. 5 minute drive to nice beaches.

The house generally was in poor condition and lacking basic amenities. The kitchen was tired with an ancient cooker and a water boiler that struggled to produce enough hot water. There was no proper shower or bath in the house - just showerheads from the taps and a drain in the floor. The bathroom locks jammed. There were no curtains or shutters in several rooms so you were woken by the sun in the early hours of the morning. Mosquito nets, where they were present, were mostly ripped. Towels were musty and the bedding was mostly cheap and artificial. No matter how much we cleaned, there were ants everywhere on the ground floor. Outside, the space around the house was very limited and mostly just dirt with patchy grass at the front. While not in the host's control, neighbours doing renovation or building work every morning around 7am and most evenings destroyed the peaceful village ambience we were expecting.
