Heart of Valletta - Apartment

Locatie grozava, paturi confortabile, foarte functional pt nevoile noastre.

Putin deranjant ca se aud vecinii pe scara (probabil tot turisti, dar care nu respecta mereu orele de liniste). Totusi, nu e un disconfort semnificativ.

Great location, the apartment is well equipped and you will find everything you need.

The apartment is on the first floor without an elevator, which can be a bit challenging if you have a baby stroller.

Fabulous position. Beautiful apartment. Appreciated little extras on arrival.

Lage ist super - das Stiegenhaus eine Katastrophe aber das Appartement selbst ist sehr schön. Alles da was man braucht. Unkompliziertes Ein und Aus-checken mit Schlüssel Kasten.

Location is fantastic. I wish I had looked at more reviews before focusing on that, as there were snippets of all the issues in other reviews. If you are a couple, in the main room, and don't mind construction, late night bar directly below and early morning deliveries out your window, you may be happy. The host (Dimitrij) was so helpful and responsive, unfortunately he has a boss who just did not care. Bonus, one of our party were arriving early, and he let us leave her bag, but the key was never there so she couldn't - the key was also late for our arrival after the checkin time... I'm not the type to leave less than positive reviews, Some other reviews mention some of these things, so the negatives are ongoing (over a year) and have not been resolved. On reflection, if I had seen a review like the one I am about to leave, I would not book here with friends. If I was a couple in 1 room then I would, as I don' mind noise, except for the construction, that is a hard no and we should have been told prior to arriving. More below.

Note: When we raised the below, we were offered to check out early (2 of 5 nights) and would be refunded. This was a 6pm on our way out to dinner, and we were on a boat the whole next day. It was impossible to find new accom and checkin somewhere new. Instead we asked for a token, $20-30 each refund for goodwill, and never heard back. The main thing was not getting sleep in the spare room as the 2 sofa beds are beyond uncomfortable. A cheap memory foam topper on each would solve this., We are not the first to mention this, so it could have been resolved if they cared. Unacceptable noise; Construction – OMG – 7.30am Sunday morning hammering. 9am Monday hammer and power saw. Tuesday 9am hammer, Wednesday 7,50am tapping like a chisel. Every morning construction noise echoing up in the apartment. (I have pics of the construction site next door). 2.45m one morning, upstairs neighbors rearranging furniture (dah). Acceptable noise: Center of Valletta, so there is noise, apartment is also directly above a bar (only closed Sunday). You will have people on the street directly below the bedroom windows, music, and you can hear the dumbwaiter motor as food is delivered until 10.30pm (louder in the 2nd bedroom/lounge) Rules – are fine, but we were the only ones in the building following them. Downstairs door was always open, whenever we came home or down from the apartment, it was open. One morning after we closed the door behind us, and were waiting for our uber, an older guy showed up and was annoyed the door was closed. Guy in the rug shop across the road gave him a key to get in? Rubbish was always in the do not leave rubbish area. Other: we had to buy toilet paper. Coffee pods were the wrong ones for the coffee machine, promises to drop off the right ones never came. Aircon in the spare room/lounge – bucket overflows, nice flood to clean up day 1.

L' appartamento è bello, pulito e comodo con il centro. Confortevole per 4 persone. E' al primo piano ma non c'è l'ascensore. Se i gestori (Host) fossero capaci, potrebbe essere un appartamento da 10.

I gestori sono stati molto insoddisfacenti. Abbiamo scelto questo appartamento perchè era dotato di lavatrice, che per una Famiglia è essenziale. Questa era rotta e lo abbiamo segnalato subito. I gestori dapprima ci hanno detto che avrebbero riparato la lavatrice, poi ci hanno detto che non trovavano un idraulico disponibile. A quel punto ci hanno detto di utilizzare una lavanderia self service, dopodichè avrebbero provveduto a rimborsarci € 15,00 per il disguido. Di fatto non ci hanno rimborsato e dopo averli minacciati di comunicare l'accaduto al servizio clienti di Booking, hanno aggiustato inutilmente la lavatrice l'ultimo giorno di soggiorno. Posso provare tutto quello che ho scritto! Scandalosi!
