Solid Ground Lodge with Yard!

Calm, quiet, the hot tub was the my favorite part!!

I have no complaints at all! I had the best time!!

I liked how clean and comfortable it was

I didn’t like that there were a lot of other cabins all around you.

The views are beautiful and the location is great.

House was convenient to LeConte conference center as we were here for Women of Joy 3 day conference. House was furnished well and comfortable. We did not use hot tub, we were unsure as it had a bungee strap across it. Well stocked with essentials, ice maker was a plus. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities. Fringe,microwave, coffee pots and toaster, all looked fairly new and clean. This was a plus as we used kitchen alot. Would have been great to have some laundry supplies to wash with as I would have washed bedding again. Did not use dishwasher, but very clean also. All in all house was very nice other than cobwebs and dust. We did get to see a very big bear the first evening we were there. Mountain views were awesome. Didn't get to enjoy porch sitting very much, but did get some great photos of mountains and bear!

Host made a big deal about us having a fifth person in the house, as at the last minute we brought my 8 year old grand daughter. She treated it as we had another adult and made us pay an additional $200. For my grand or we would have to leave. I paid the extra but just felt this was an unnecessary as my grand slept with her mother and grandmother. We were not trying to sneak her in and be dishonest which is how she made me feel. The house was full of cobwebs, dust everywhere. Cobwebs hanging over the table when we tried to eat. Look like black mold around the window in bathroom with lots of cobwebs. Dust very thick on everything. Blinds looked like someone splattered drink all over them in dining room. Shower curtain in small bathroom had some kind of bug or eggs of a spider cocooned to the curtain. We had to remove this to shower.😫 front porch would have been very enjoyable had it not been covered with bird poop everywhere. Signs everywhere about carrying your luggage up the stairs as to not harm new floors!! Really! It's luggage, its heavy and it has wheels! Think she needs to worry about the nasty curtains and blinds more than hurting the floors? Lastly, bed sheets were disgusting looking, dark colored and stained. Spread was dirty, kicked it off at night. I just feel that if someone else sleeps in a bed before me,EVERYTHING SHOULD COME OFF AND BEEN WASHED THOUGHERLY. If the sheets look like these did, they should be replaced. Have stayed in many rentals and some are great and some not so great to details. This was a great home, just needed more attention to the not everyday cleaning.
