Exceptional service, very competent and friendly staff! The person who prepares the breakfast has a lot of imagination, it was very good and not your typical boring hotel-breakfast. Coffee is great! Rooms are large, modern and clean. Balcony is large. As soon as we arrived at this hotel we instantly felt happy! Try the cocktails by the pool, they’re tasty 😊

Our stay there was too short! I wished we stayed longer.

The breakfast buffet was very good, the staff were super accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were extremely clean and well sized. Overall, would definitely choose Margaida again.

Hotel is modern with large rooms and professional staff who were extremely helpful. Perfect location metres from the water and restaurants. Spa was good with personal service.

Not a 'boutique' hotel. No body lotion/hair conditioner provided. No water provided apart from the first night. No tea/coffee in rooms. No personal touch to room or services. Dirty glasses not replaced when room was cleaned. Be careful - pictures very deceiving on listing, mainly focusing on spa. There is no complimentary access to spa facilities such as sauna, spa pool/loungers. This was not made clear to us upon arrival and no spa price list was provided making it hard to know how to use the spa. We would have paid for access (although we didn't know we needed to), however every time we tried to access the spa, it was locked. Parking limited. We found close parking on nearby streets but this was in off-season.

The reception staff were very friendly

The spa was very expensive - around £33 for a day pass, or you get 90mins (sauna, hot tub and steam room) if you pay for a treatment (which started at approx. £40). The spa should be included within the hotel price, or make it £5-10 entry, but not £33. It was empty as a result. The room also seemed quite dull. It was modern and clean, but lacked any sort of character or theme. It was more like a business room Vs a cozy couples room

What a lovely relaxed place. The margaida was in a great location, and easy walkable to the restaurants and beaches. Sadly as I had hurt myself and ended up in A&E on our arrival night, it wasn’t the trip I’d hoped for. But the hotel accommodated our very late check-in, lovely breakfast and great quiet safe location to chill and recover. It was a shame the bar wasn’t open when we were there but maybe it is in season. They also didn’t do food that I saw apart from the breakfast. We would stay here again, staff lovely, clean throughout. I didn’t try the spa either but maybe next time we visit!
