I paid for five nights, and stayed for three. The apartment was infested with cockroaches, and on the third night, when one flew on my bed, I booked a hotel for the final two nights. The response of the host was first to say that cockroaches were simply a fact of life in the old town, and he could do nothing. When I left, he then claimed that there were no cockroaches in the apartment and would not refund my money for the two nights I was not there.

The host was great and the locations was also.

The shower is very tight. There are rusty nails in the shower and some things need to be replaced. It is a an old building so just understand that when you book.

The kitchen is well equipped, has everything for cooking (but no kettle)

Prepare to live in a pigeon nest! The apartment is very small, on the 3rd floor of an old Tarragona house, and other houses next to it are either demolished already or yet to be. Pigeons are everywhere around, as well as their poop. Another problem is the really loud air conditioner (in the kitchen only), it won't work for the sleeping room. Also there is mold and cockroaches in the bathroom 😭😭😭 In total, I don't think it is a good value for the money.

Not the best views but not really important The staircase is indeed quite steep and narrow, which i was expecting so was fine with it, but just warning those less fit people or those with heavy suitcases.
